Amazon prime - worth it?
You can get £20 off a years subscription until the end of tomorrow. Not too fussed by the free delivery as I don't buy much from them but what's their tv selection and own shows like? Does Netflix piss all over it?

Having checked out their list of shows and films, think I'll give this a swerve

I thought Amazon have always offered free shipping and that the additional benefit from Prime was is that it is next day guaranteed.

I use the music loads now. Syncs up perfectly with my phone, not as much as Spotify and the like but over a million tracks on there it's well worth it.

Plus I always get my free book!

Re: Amazon prime - worth it?
as irons said, the free delivery is where you make your money back. I have netflix as well and almost never use amazon's video service.

I will say that when I subscribed to prime, I started ordering a lot more from them due to the convenience of free shipping.

Is Vikings the only decent show they do?

Re: Amazon prime - worth it?
Well worth it, plus you can now get free one or two hour deliveries in certain postcodes. Prime Now gets stuff to me within 45 minutes of ordering sometimes, ridiculous. TV stuff I don't use as such but I order shit loads off Amazon and handy to have it next day at the latest.

We order a fair bit off of amazon, well worth it for the free deliver on many items, saved on this alone.

Is the music on Prime at a decent mp3 bitrate?

Re: Amazon prime - worth it?
I shouldn't call it free delivery, as it comes with a subscription. But you get what I mean.

I consider it great value for money. I listen to the free music from time to time, watch the films, and the free delivery has been v reliable.

Re: Amazon prime - worth it?
I have it and certainly get the value back over the course of the year with the free next day delivery on many of the items. The films/tv we use but I wouldn't get it just for that

Re: Amazon prime - worth it?
I love it and order nothing. Free book every month, Netflix is better but this is good plus you get the free music now as well

Re: Amazon prime - worth it?
If you don't order much, it certainly isn't. You last sentence is correct.
